4YFN is back at the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry, GSMA Mobile World Congress, supporting startups, investors and companies to connect and launch new business ventures together.

Over three days, 4YFN will showcase the latest tech startup innovations from around the world. Featuring curated content, startup pitches, competitions and dedicated networking sessions.

The Next Generation Internet (NGI) initiative will have a strong presence at 4YFN 2019, our events and locations are:

NGI Booth: Come and visit us throughout 4YFN at booth 52 in the exhibition area. Here you’ll find find promo materials including all the information about our four current Open Calls.

NGI Lounge: There will be a dedicated NGI area in the EU Projects Lounge at the event.

Workshop: NGI as a catalyst for Europe, Monday 25 February, 12.00pm, 4YFN Workshop Room. This workshop will be a deep dive into European plans and new funding for NGI, bringing to the stage some examples of what is already being developed and testing by European NGI Early Adopters.

NGI Awards Ceremony: Monday 25 February, 5.30pm, Garden Stage. The NGI Awards celebrate excellence in innovation, disruption, education, research and entrepreneurship in Europe and worldwide.

NGI Salon: Tuesday 26 February, 2pm, CaixaForum Barcelona (offsite). The NGI Salon will discuss, “The past, present and future of (y)our internet” and presents a millennials’ viewpoint on the NGI.

The Future of NGI – Workshop: Wednesday 27 February, 10.00am, MWCapital Stage. This workshop will have on stage some inspiring innovators to debate and explore the main challenges and opportunities to shape the internet of the future. We will talk technology, policy and citizen empowerment.
